Welcome to your playground for exploring colors and creating your dream kayak look! Have fun mixing, matching, and seeing how different combinations come to life.
Before you dive in, here are a few handy tips:
- The colors on your screen may look different from the real ones. To be sure about your final choice, check your favorites against a physical color chart.
- You've got 40 colors to experiment with here! In reality, you can use almost all "RAL K5 classic" colors (except luminous, metallic, and pearl tones). Your retailer can tell you more about what's available and whether any special tints come with extra costs.
- The Skiin kayak designer focuses on your kayak's hull and deck colors. Some extras like special deck materials (wood, carbon, or Kevlar) have recently been added but transparent hulls — aren't shown in this version.
- Deckline and sticker colors are more limited than in the tool, but don't worry — lines are easy to swap out later if you want to tweak or personalize your design.
- Your browser's local storage can store one design only. If you want to experiment further and save more designs, you need to create an account.
- You can export your color data and send a very small file to your local dealer, should you choose to actually purchase and paddle your unique design.
- The tool is currently in beta, so expect some rough edges and incompatible versions! When the factory updates the actual cans of colors, we will also update the tool. Unfortunately, Safari browser is very grumpy with vector .svg files and does not work well in older browsers. If you find any other issues or have suggestions for improvement, please let us know!
