Greenland Ropes — Competition Archive
1987–2026 450 athletes 1432 results
This is the results archive for Allunaariaqattarneq, the Greenland ropes competition, held since 1987. It's built from decades of hand-recorded competition sheets — carefully reconstructed and corrected (misspelled names, married names, misfiled years and all) so the whole history finally lives in one place instead of a stack of spreadsheets.
A few things worth knowing as you browse:
- Score vs. Rank — Score is the judged points for a ropes routine; Rank is that year's finish position. A handful of historical entries hold a tied placement (e.g. "4th/5th") instead of a single number.
- Age group — Brackets come straight from that year's actual competition rules, which have changed more than once since 1987 and are far more fine-grained for kids than adults, so the labels aren't on one consistent scale across all years.
- Under 15 — So many kids do ropes from a young age — and so many top competitors first distinguished themselves this way — that best score and lifetime points set before turning 15 are tracked as their own leaderboard category, alongside the regular lifetime ones.
- Team vs. country — Team is the town or club an athlete represented that year, which can change as people move. The flag icon next to their name reflects their actual country of origin instead.
- Leaderboards — Highest score, most competitions, most golds, lifetime total, average per year, and the under-15 categories are all calculated live from the results below, so they're always in sync — no more re-tallying by hand.
